Considering that the Law on Cross-Border Exchange of Electricity and Gas stipulates that cross-border electricity transmission may be performed by a Transmission System Operator (TSO) that has established a system of international cooperation, and that such international cooperation constitutes an obligation of the TSO, CGES continuously develops and enhances international cooperation within its operations, both at the regional and the European level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
CGES is a member of the ENTSO-E (European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity), as well as Med-TSO \u2013 the Association of the Mediterranean Transmission System Operators. It also participates in the work of Energy Community task forces, and operates the ENTSO-E control area of Montenegro, which, together with the control areas of Serbia and North Macedonia, constitutes the SMM control block. CGES also actively contributes to initiatives aimed at integrating electricity markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
