The construction of the 110\/35 kV substation \u017dabljak is a project being implemented to connect \u017dabljak to the transmission network via the already constructed 110 kV transmission line \u201cPljevlja-\u017dabljak\u201d and to provide connection conditions for the future 110 kV transmission line \u201cBrezna-\u017dabljak.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Until 2023, the \u017dabljak and \u0160avnik areas were supplied radially via the 35 kV transmission line Pljevlja \u2013 \u017dabljak, which was originally built as a 110 kV line with a 150\/25 mm\u00b2 shield wire. A backup supply route to \u017dabljak also exists from Nik\u0161i\u0107 through the long 35 kV transmission lines \u201cNik\u0161i\u0107-Brezna-\u0160avnik-\u017dabljak.\u201d Due to the dynamic development of the area as a winter tourist center, it became necessary to increase transformation capacity and provide a safer and more reliable supply to \u017dabljak by constructing the 110\/35 kV substation and connecting it to the \u201cPljevlja\u201d substation via the aforementioned line, which was operating at the 35 kV voltage level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The benefits of implementing the project are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 Improvement of voltage and reactive power conditions;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 Reduction of losses;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 Increased system reliability;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 Reduction of unserved energy levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A connection agreement for the facility was signed with CEDIS, and it was connected to the CGES transmission system on December 28, 2023. In the meantime, the remaining construction works have been nearly completed (less than 5% of construction works remain, which are expected to be finished by August 31, 2024), after which the technical inspection of the completed works and further procedures for obtaining the operating permit for the facility will continue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The value of the investment is \u20ac4.8 million, and the planned completion date is 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
