Crnogorski elektroprenosni sistem (CGES) hosted the Second Regional Transmission Conference, dedicated to the theme \u201cModernizing Transmission Networks through Maintenance Technologies, Operational Safety and Asset Management.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The conference opened with welcome addresses by Leda Mini\u0107, Director of Elektroprenos, and Dragan Perunovi\u0107, Member of the CGES Management Board, who emphasized the importance of regional cooperation and the exchange of professional expertise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event brought together representatives of electricity transmission system operators from Slovenia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia and Croatia, providing an opportunity to exchange knowledge, share experiences and discuss innovative approaches to maintaining and upgrading transmission networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the first day, discussions focused on the application of advanced technologies in overhead transmission line maintenance, the digitalization of maintenance processes, and measures to enhance operational safety at substations operating without permanent on-site staff. The discussions also focused on risk management and power infrastructure reliability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Technical presentations were delivered by our engineers, Ilda Dautovi\u0107, Ilija Vuksanovi\u0107 and Nikola Mugo\u0161a, who shared relevant experience and presented solutions from their respective fields of expertise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the second day of the conference, participants visited the Lastva substation, where they gained insight into its main equipment and protection systems, as well as the HVDC installation. The programme also included a discussion on the implementation of Asset Performance Management (APM) systems for managing equipment lifecycle and performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
