The Lastva substation is a key component of Montenegro's section of the Trans-Balkan Electricity Corridor, in which <span><\/span>the EU has invested around \u20ac 120 million in grants <span><\/span>and favourable loans.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> \u201cEnergy security and sustainable energy generation from renewable sources are clear targets of our EU energy policy. The substation visited today is an important example and part of a much bigger picture supported by institutions and EU Member States through Team Europe approach,\u201d Commissioner Varhelyi said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> The Commissioner voiced the EU\u2019s support for Montenegro\u2019s commitment to further strengthen the national power network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> \u201cThe EU expects the Government of Montenegro to proceed quickly to adopt the spatial plan that will allow completion of the domestic grid, and to link up with the Serbian grid by 2027,\u201d Varhelyi said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> Commissioner Varhelyi highlighted the longstanding support that the EU provides to Montenegro in terms of capacity building and investments in the energy and environment sectors, confirming the EU\u2019s commitment to provide assistance through the accession process and beyond. <o_p><\/o_p><\/p>","protected":false},"featured_media":7289,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":true},"class_list":["post-6870","vijest-i-dogadjaj","type-vijest-i-dogadjaj","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/cges.me\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/vijest-i-dogadjaj\/6870","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/cges.me\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/vijest-i-dogadjaj"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/cges.me\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/vijest-i-dogadjaj"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/cges.me\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/7289"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/cges.me\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=6870"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
