The agreement was signed by the directors of the two companies, <b>Ivan Asanovi\u0107<\/b> i <b>Jelena Mateji\u0107<\/b>. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span>The subject of the agreement is the purchase of parts of the 220 kV and 110 kV interconnection transmission lines, which are owned by EMS but located on the territory of Montenegro. Under the agreed terms, ownership of these lines will be transferred to CGES.<o_p><\/o_p><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span>The need for this arrangement arises from the complexities involved in operating and maintaining transmission lines located in another country, which presents both technical and legal challenges. Therefore, CGES and EMS jointly initiated a sustainable solution for the<\/span><span> 220 kV Pljevlja\u2013Bajina Ba\u0161ta, 220 kV Pljevlja\u2013Bistrica and 110 kV Pljevlja 1\u2013Potpe\u0107 interconnection lines, which are owned by EMS but partially located in Montenegro, as well as the internal 220 kV Mojkovac\u2013Pljevlja line, which is partially located in Serbia but operated by <span><\/span>CGES <o_p><\/o_p><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span>Accordingly, the agreed model ensures that each transmission system operator will assume ownership of the transmission lines located within its respective territory.
