CGES distributes a dividend in the gross amount of 8.2 million euros<\/o_p><\/span><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 14th Annual Shareholder Meeting of CGES, whose agenda included the most important issues from the field of work of one of the most successful companies in Montenegro, was held today in Podgorica.<\/o_p><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taking into account all the mentioned circumstances that will have an effect on the operations of CGES in the coming period, and with the aim of financial stability and sustainability of the Company's operations, based on the realised profit in 2022, which amounts to as much as 20.3 million euros, it was proposed to pay a gross dividend to the shareholders of CGES in the total amount of 8.2 million euros, <\/span>\u20ac<\/span>and to accumulate the remaining part as retained profit with the profit from previous years, which the shareholders unanimously accepted.<\/span><\/o_p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the continuation of today's Meeting, pursuant to the Companies Act, and according to the determined agenda and in accordance with the Company's By-Laws, the shareholders unanimously adopted decisions on the Financial Statements with the Auditor's Report, then the 2022 Operating Statement and the Remuneration Policy, and they also confirmed the decision to select \u201c<\/span>Ernst & Young as auditor <\/span>in 2023<\/o_p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The shareholders also adopted a decision on the removal and appointment of new members of the Company's Board of Directors, so the members who represent the state capital in the Company were reappointed, namely: Aleksandar Miju\u0161kovi\u0107, BScEE, Zdravko Ble\u010di\u0107, MSc of State Legal and European Studies, Almedina Husovi\u0107, LLB, and Mijat Mirkovi\u0107, BScEE. <\/span>Joint-stock company Elektromre\u017ea Srbije in the CGES Board will be represented, as before, by Jelena Mateji\u0107, BEcon,<\/span> and the Italian energy company Terna - Rete Elettrica Nazionale S.p.A., by the former members <\/span>Giacomo Donini <\/span>and Guido Guida.<\/span><\/span><\/o_p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the same day, a constitutive meeting of the newly appointed Board of Directors was held, at which it was decided that Aleksandar Miju\u0161kovi\u0107 should hold the office of the Chairman of the Board of Directors in the next mandate, while Giacomo Donnini should be the Deputy Chairman.<\/span><\/o_p><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the constitutive meeting of the Board of Directors, the reappointed Chairman of the Board of Directors, Aleksandar Miju\u0161kovi\u0107, pointed out that he is honoured to be at the helm of a company like CGES again. \"I am very proud of what was done in the previous period, both in terms of implemented investments and financial indicators, which place CGES among the most successful Montenegrin companies. In the previous two years, we had a clear vision and we showed that we have the ability and strength to realise that vision.<\/o_p><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Good business practices, quick adaptation to major changes and continuous dedication to development are the characteristics of our Company. Striving for development, which is our primary goal, researching new ideas, respecting and encouraging different opinions, together contribute to the success of the Company and its employees,\" Miju\u0161kovi\u0107 said.<\/span><\/o_p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIn the previous period, we believe that CGES was recognised for significant investments in the development of the transmission system, and not only in our local frameworks. Here, the submarine interconnection project with Italy, that is, the Trans-Balkan Corridor project, which will build an energy bridge from Italy through Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia all the way to Romania, stands out, within which the completion of the 400 kV overhead line Lastva - Pljevlja and the completion of the 400 kV ring is expected by the end of the year, which is truly an enviable success for our country. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the realised net profit of 20.3 million euros, which is the historical result of CGES, and the investment momentum that we implemented to a significant extent, we not only achieved the set goals, but also exceeded them.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Direktnu korist od ovakve dobiti imaju svi na\u0161i akcionari, kojima \u0107emo, zahvaljuju\u0107i usvojenoj odluci na dana\u0161njoj Skup\u0161tini akcionara, isplatiti dividendu u bruto iznosu od 8,2 miliona eura. Izuzetan je podatak, zaklju\u010dio je Miju\u0161kovi\u0107, da je do sada akcionarima CGES-a ispla\u0107ena dividenda u iznosu od 33.782.023\u20ac.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
