During July 2020, the networka Montenegrin electrical transmission system (CGES) reported a total of 672,152 GWh electricity, which is for 24.33% more compared to the same month of the previous year. Of this, 52.25 GWh was supplied to direct consumers (KAP, Toščelik and Railway Infrastructure), 200.765 GWh to distribution consumers, while 419.140 GWh was supplied to other electricity systems.
When it comes to electricity generation in Montenegro, 1,000 MW was injected into the transmission system from generation facilities in July this year. 247,130 GWh electricity, of which 74.811 GWh, respectively 30% generated in hydroelectric power stations, 18,247 GWh, respectively 8% was obtained from wind, and the rest was produced in a thermal power station.
In July, in addition to routine maintenance, the CGES Maintenance Service carried out 3 inspections and 4 overhauls of equipment in substations, as well as 8 interventions. Regarding transmission lines, 7 inspections and 2 overhauls were carried out, along with 5 emergency interventions.
