SMM Block Working Group

CGES operates the ENTSO-E control area of Montenegro.

The Montenegro control area, together with the control areas of Serbia and North Macedonia, constitutes the SMM control block. Coordination of the SMM block is performed by the transmission system operator of Serbia - EMS, cooperating with CGES and Macedonian transmission system operator MEPSO.

A Permanent Working Group has been established by the transmission system operators of the SMM block, in charge of analysing and improving its operational performance.
