During August 2020, the networka Montenegrin electrical transmission system (CGES) reported a total of 711, 347 GWh electricity, which is for 23, 43% more compared to the same month of the previous year. Of this, 52.99 GWh was supplied to direct consumers (KAP, Toščelik and Railway Infrastructure), 208.797 GWh to distribution consumers, while 449.565 GWh was supplied to other electricity systems.
When it comes to electricity generation in Montenegro, 1,000 MW was injected into the transmission system from generation facilities in August this year. 234, 545 GWh electricity, of which is 25% produced in hydroelectric power stations, 9% was obtained from wind, and the rest was produced in a thermal power station.
In August, the CGES maintenance service, in addition to routine maintenance, carried out 3 equipment audits and 5 overhauls in substations, as well as 13 interventions. Regarding transmission lines, 5 inspections and 6 emergency interventions were carried out in August.
