As one of the leading companies in the country, CGES strives to be present in all areas that are important to Montenegrin society. In addition to striving to fulfil our primary task and the obligation concerning the quality of electricity supply to consumers connected to the transmission system, our company also sees its role in actively and continuously contributing to the development of the community in which it operates.

Cooperation between the company and educational institutions such as the Faculty of Electrical Engineering – Podgorica, which is reflected in concrete projects and programmes, numerous donations and sponsorships, the implementation of a student placement scheme aimed at familiarising them with our electrical energy system, This has contributed to our company's even greater achievements in the field of social responsibility. It is in this way that we are able to respond even better to major social needs, especially in these times which call for solidarity and empathy in every respect.

As a socially responsible company, which has always had a special sensitivity towards home-grown talent, the acquisition of knowledge and the training of the future personnel, primarily electrical engineers, CGES provided the ETF with a donation of 20 thousand euros Support for students' education through the modernisation of Amphitheatre 016, i.e. through improving the working conditions for both students and teaching staff. In this way, we have ensured excellent conditions to electrical engineering students, because this educational institution a veritable nursery of our future engineers, who will undoubtedly make their full contribution through further engagement and at the same time respond to all the challenges of the future. The Montenegrin electricity transmission system is recognised as one of the largest employers of electrical engineering graduates and for this very reason, we regard ETF as a strategic partner in the field of higher education. This act of ours represents a further confirmation of the symbiosis between CGES and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, from which, undoubtedly, the students benefit the most.

By modernising Amphitheatre 016, CGES has provided adequate conditions for the delivery of teaching, while through practical training and participation in joint projects, students of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering are already equipped to solve specific practical problems during their studies.

In addition to investing in educational institutions, CGES provides wholehearted assistance to the healthcare system and environmental conservation, and promotes the development of culture, the arts, sport, education, and so on. That this business policy is the right one and that we are doing the right thing is also confirmed by public opinion, namely the accolades and awards this electricity company has received during the previous period for Social philanthropy projects.
