On the path to even closer cooperation between the Montenegrin electricity transmission system and Elektromreža Srbije

The Elektromreža Srbije delegation also included Tamara the Redhead, Executive Director for Legal Affairs, Kristina Bojović, Executive Director for Human Resources and Branislav Djukic, Corporate Director for International and Regulatory Affairs.
The meeting saw the exchange of experiences, with a focus on many topics related to the work of both transmission system operators. Regional initiatives and projects were discussed, as well as Improvement bilateral cooperation between CGES and EMS. Numerous issues were considered, with a special emphasis on Development of the electricity market in Montenegro Gori and Serbia. As part of a working visit, discussion was also held on further progress. energy infrastructure (the Trans-Balkan Corridor, etc.), as well as a joint approach of mutual interest before regional bodies and organisations (ENTSO-E, the Energy Community, etc.).In addition to the above, there was also discussion of the early, i.e. voluntary, application of European grid codes and integration into the pan-European market.
The conclusion of this very constructive working meeting was the belief of both parties that all the prerequisites exist for even closer and more fruitful business cooperation.
