The Žabljak substation, valued at five million euros, is the first transmission substation in the municipality of Žabljak, which will increase the sustainability and efficiency of our tourism sector. With a more stable electricity supply to consumers, improved infrastructure capacity and environmentally sustainable solutions, we are laying the foundations for tourism growth, and enabling the further development of Žabljak.
With the construction of the transmission line on the section from Brezani to Žabljak, CGES is continuing its activities on the construction of the priority Trans-Balkans Corridor project, which is to connect Italy with the countries of Southeast Europe across the whole of Montenegro.
