The Montenegrin electricity transmission system is hosting a two-day meeting of the management of the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity (ENTSO-E) and the transmission operators of the Western Balkans in Tivat.

Today and tomorrow, we are focused on the key issues concerning the energy future of our region.

The first day is dedicated to presentations by representatives of ENTSO-E, while the second day will focus more on issues of importance to the regional transmission companies, their vision for future development and mutual cooperation.

Particular emphasis is placed on the implementation of grid codes and the challenges companies face when integrating renewable energy sources.

The hosts of this significant meeting are Aleksandar Mijušković, Chairman of the CGES Board of Directors, and Ivan Asanović, the company's CEO. Joining them are distinguished guests: Zbyněk Boldiš, President of ENTSO-E, Asta Sihvonen-Punkka, poThe President of ENTSO-E, Damian Cortinas, Chairman of the ENTSO-E Board and Tahir Kapetanović, Vice-Chairman of the ENTSO-E Board, as well as other representatives of this significant European association.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of EMS, NOS, BIH and OST.
