Electrical engineers are the backbone of the accelerated development and transformation of the energy system.

Electrical engineers shape the world with their innovations, and the current and future generations of electrical engineers will be the backbone of the accelerated development and transformation of the energy system based on sustainable solutions, is the message from the 'Eighth Days of Electrical Engineers' conference. Engineering Chambers of Montenegro (ICCG).
President of the Board of Directors of the Crogor Power Transmission System, Aleksandar Mijušković, at the opening of the 'Eighth Days of Electrical Engineers', one of the most significant professional events in the country, He said that it is a set of opportunities for the exchange of knowledge and ideas that lead us towards a more modern, sustainable and energy-efficient society.
An engineer is not just a profession – it is a calling that shapes the world. Within the engineering family, electrical engineers hold a special place, bringing innovation and solutions to everyday and global challenges, from the generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity to technological advancements in telecommunications, automation, green technologies, and artificial intelligence. "We at CGES, as a leader in the energy sector, are proud of our team of over 100 engineers who perform a wide variety of tasks every day and contribute to the development of our infrastructure and the implementation of new technologies," emphasised Mijušković.
They are particularly committed, he added, to the green transition through the modernisation of the transmission network and the connection of renewable energy sources.
"It is our collective responsibility to be leaders of change and create a sustainable energy world for future generations," emphasised Mijušković.
Today is an opportunity to reflect on our achievements and be inspired for future challenges. It is our collective responsibility to be leaders of change and create a sustainable energy world for future generations.
Mijušković invited all those present to use this gathering to exchange ideas, strengthen cooperation and create new partnerships that will further enrich knowledge and encourage on new innovations.
