On 25th March, the Montenegrin Electricity Transmission System joined the largest volunteer campaign, 'Earth Hour', which in Montenegro is promoted by the non-governmental organisation 'Green Home'. By symbolically switching off the lights at its facilities, as well as measuring the savings in real time, the Montenegrin Electricity Transmission System (CGES) made its modest contribution to preserving the planet. Furthermore, this act also confirmed how much attention our company pays to environmental protection.
Thirteen municipalities joined this year's 'Earth Hour' campaign.
This year, the largest savings in consumption were achieved in Pljevlja, at nearly 7.07 per cent, while nationwide savings of 1.43 per cent were achieved.
