During June 2020, the networka Montenegrin electrical transmission system (CGES) reported a total of 611,980 GWh electricity, which is for 17.68% more compared to the same month of the previous year. Of this, 51.76 GWh was supplied to direct consumers (KAP, Toščelik and Railway Infrastructure), 167.803 GWh to distribution consumers, while 392.417 GWh was supplied to other electricity systems.
When it comes to electricity generation in Montenegro, 1,000 MW was injected into the transmission system from generation facilities in June this year. 155,982 GWh electricity, of which 31.599 GWh, respectively 20% generated in hydroelectric power stations, 13.612 GWh, respectively 9% was obtained from wind, and the rest was produced in a thermal power station.
In June, in addition to routine maintenance, the CGES Maintenance Service carried out 4 inspections and one overhaul of equipment in substations, as well as 3 interventions. Regarding transmission lines, 12 inspections and 3 overhauls were carried out, along with 2 emergency interventions. The aforementioned activities are carried out with our own resources, thanks to our skilled and qualified staff, as well as the modern equipment our company possesses.
