CGES HOSTS THE 49TH MEETING OF THE CSO SG WORKING GROUP

The Montenegrin electricity transmission system hosted the 49th meeting of the CSO SG working group, attended by members from Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungarian, Romanian, Greek, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, BiH and Turkey.

Due to the importance of the issue the group addresses—the day-to-day practice in the management of the electricity system—all transmission system operators from continental Europe who are members of ENTSO participated in the two-day session.

Before the working part A visit was organised at the meeting. at the NDC, during The basic characteristics and management of Montenegro's electricity system were presented to the CSO members.

As a reminder, the CSO (Coordinated System Operation) is a standing working group within the ENTSO-e Management Committee (SOC – System Operation Committee), which discusses all current issues at its meetings, with an emphasis on problems related to the coordinated management of systems within the ENTSO-e interconnection, such as – regulation, reserve exchange, short-term planning and settlement, coordinated planning and security of operation, cross-border exchange, emergencies, Real-time data exchange.
