"Lastva – Čevo – Pljevlja" in the local community of Trubjela, where local roads are being gravelled.

As the power line route also passes through part of the Nikšić municipality, representatives of CGES discussed with Perović the projects being implemented in the city under the Bedem.

Kujović on that occasion He pointed out that at CGES they ensure that, alongside the work of installing the power lines, they also maintain and improve the roads in the rural areas through which the route passes.

"We require our contractors that all access roads which were damaged during the construction of such power lines must be restored to at least their pre-construction condition, and we strive to improve them as well. The roads used for access to the pylons, which did not previously exist, will be made available to the local population for their local needs," Kujović said.

He invited the residents to contact the CGES staff if they notice any irregularities or shortcomings.

Work on the transmission line is largely complete, as are the technical tests on the submarine cable, so Kujović expects commercial use to begin in about a month.

Vice President Perović recalled the excellent cooperation with CGES, as the electricity supply to the citizens of Nikšić has been significantly improved, as evidenced by the fact that more than eight million EUR has been invested.

"Citizens have received a better, safer and more reliable supply of electricity, and it has also enabled connections with other consumers in Montenegro.
