CGES, in agreement with Terna, allocated cross-border transmission capacity in the daily auction for 28 December 2019, thereby initiating the commercial operation of the Montenegro-Italy submarine interconnector. This has enabled all interested participants in the electricity market to use this cross-border capacity in a transparent, market-based allocation procedure.
