Asanović comes to the post of acting executive director from the position of head of the Service. for SCADA, SBN and billing measurements in CGES.

Biography of Ivan Asanović
Ivan Asanović He was born in 1982 in Podgorica, where he completed Vlado Milić Primary School and the Gymnasium. „Slobodan Škerović. He graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University of Montenegro in Podgorica, where he obtained a degree as a graduate engineer in electrical engineering – specialising in power engineering and automation.
He began his professional experience in 2005 at an international construction company. „CYVAS General Trade LTD” Kipar, as an electrical and automation engineer during the construction of the new airport terminal building in Podgorica.
In 2006, he joined Elektroprivreda Crne Gore – FC „Prenos” (the Montenegrin Electric Power Company – Transmission) as a substation maintenance engineer within the Maintenance Department. In 2009, he served as Chief Substation Maintenance Engineer. During this period, he participated in numerous investment projects involving substation reconstruction and high-voltage equipment replacement, performing various duties – from serving on Project Revision Commission to acting as works supervisor and lead engineer.
From 2010 onward, he was actively involved in the major international investment project of the Montenegro-Italy submarine interconnection. In 2011, he led the construction of the 400/110/35 kV Lastva substation and the extension of the existing 400/220/110 kV Pljevlja 2 substation, gaining substantial professional experience.
From 2011 to 2019, he was the Head of the Secondary and Information Systems Department. As part of this department's duties, he participated in the realisation of several significant investments, notably the projects to upgrade the existing SCADA system, prepare the Backup Dispatch Centre, and implement a new SCADA and EMS.
Respectaccountable He gained experience through membership in international working groups as a representative of CGES. On this occasion, we would highlight the committees for network development within ENTSO-E, as well as for research, development and innovation.
He is a member of the Engineering Chamber of Montenegro, as well as the national and Paris committees of CIGRE. He has authored several papers on high-voltage equipment maintenance, the application of GIS technology in substation construction, and the design and implementation of modern systems for monitoring and managing the power system.
