CGES – SOLAR POWER PLANT Contract signed for the connection of the 'Prediš' SPP to the transmission system In Podgorica on 4 August 2023, a contract was signed for the connection of the 'Prediš" to the transmission system, which has an installed capacity of 215 MW and a value of around 180 million euros. The contract was signed by Ivan Asanović, CEO of CGES, and Rusmin Muslić, CEO of 'Renewable Energy Sources' d.o.o., Rusmin Muslić. The solar power plant will be connected via a 400 kV transmission line to the RP 'Čevo' distribution substation. In addition to the greater grid connection capacity, this technical solution also enables better characteristics of the transmission system as it eliminates the possibility of a simultaneous failure of the 400 kV transmission lines towards Trebinje and Pljevlja, which will have multiple benefits, including an increase in short-circuit power and system inertia.
