The Montenegrin Electricity Transmission System (CGES) and the Paralympic Committee (POK) have today signed a new sponsorship agreement, worth 25 thousand euros, extending their cooperation for another year.The general sponsorship agreement was signed by Igor Tomić, President of the POC, and Ivan Asanović, Executive Director of CGES. Tomić recalled that CGES was the first general sponsor of the umbrella association for disability sport, and that the partnership has been in place since 2018. "From the bottom of my heart, on behalf of all Montenegrin para-athletes and the POK, a big and sincere thank you to CGES, led by Director Ivan Asanović, for continuing the excellent, long-standing tradition of great, sincere support and high level of social responsibility that they show towards our athletes. "I am sure that the greatest thank you will be written by the Montenegrin Paralympians at all the major competitions that await them this year," said Tomić.
Asanović, accompanied by his associates, visited the Montenegrin Paralympians at the Podgorica Resource Centre and wished them success in the upcoming competitions, stating that they will always have the support of the company he heads.
I am extremely happy that we are here today in the Resource Centre with our Paralympians – our great champions who are the pride of the entire Montenegrin society. I am pleased that our company is once again part of the great victories of the POK, with which we share numerous values, as well as outstanding sporting results and successes," said Asanović.He emphasised that he is delighted that CGES has recognised their strength, boundless desire, steely will and fighting spirit that produces exceptional sporting results."As one of the country's leading companies, CGES has always aimed to be involved in all areas important to our society. That is why we are proud of this agreement. We are moving forward together," said Asanović. He also played a few points with the Montenegrin Paralympian and Tokyo bronze medallist, Filip Radović. The bronze medallists from the European Championship in Helsingborg, Radović, Luka Bakić and Dejan Bašanović, presented Asanović with the framed jersey in which they achieved that historic result.
