The Montenegrin Electricity Transmission System also took part in the auction of artworks by Montenegrin academic painters, held at the Ramada Hotel, represented by Vesna Bracanović, the company's Chairwoman of the Board of Directors.
The purchase of artworks by 23 Montenegrin academic painters directly supported the ongoing work of the NGO 'ZDRAVA DONA MONTENEGRINA', an association for the fight against breast cancer.
€6,450 has been collected, which will be spent on this non-governmental organisation's project.
Works by Milena Durutović, Ljiljana Kulundžić, Vana Prelević, Ivana Stanić, Verica Bulatović, Romana and Sonja Đuranović, Sanja Raonić, Milena Živković, Ela Božović, Tijana Dujović, Tijana Vujović, Jovana Vujanović, Biljana Keković, Maša Jovović, Joveta Ljumović, Nada Kažić, Danijela Stjepčević, Gordana Trebješanin, Bojana Bogavac, Damir Murseljević, Gordana Kuč and Nina Vukčević.
"'Zdrava Dona Montnegrina' is a breast cancer charity that for nine long years has been organising numerous successful campaigns, including fundraising for a mammograph, equipping a day hospital at the Oncology Clinic, and donating computers, printers, and photocopiers to the same clinic. However, our most important activity is our intensive work in raising awareness among Montenegrin women about the importance of regular breast examinations, which protects not only their health, but the health of the entire family.
