CGES participated in the Startup Academy

The Chairwoman of the CGES Board of Directors, Vesna Bracanović, served on the jury. Startup Academies which was organised by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering for the students of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and the Faculty of Science and Mathematics.

The Startup Academy concluded with a final competition held on 3 June, attended by numerous guests, mentors, members of the jury and students, who had the opportunity to hear the innovative business ideas of the seven teams from the first generation. An international jury selected the three best teams: the IAMS team, which won by presenting a project for an innovative way of combining ecology and 3D printing; the ORHIS team, who presented an automated smart pot that provides a higher quality, easier and more engaging plant-growing experience; and the eTIM team, who offered a solution to the problem of finding work experience for students upon graduation.

The aim of the Startup Academy is to provide students with added value in the field of the startup ecosystem – the art of launching their own business and creating new sectors in Montenegro's economy. Firmly believing in the value and importance of young people, knowledge and innovation, CGES, as a socially responsible company, will continue to actively support such initiatives and projects.
