Memorandum of Cooperation Signed between the Montenegrin Electricity Transmission System and the Olive Growing Society "Boka"

The Agreement was signed at TS "Lastva". on business and technical cooperation between the Montenegrin Electricity Transmission System (CGES) and the NGO Olive Growing Society "Boka".

The agreement was signed by the Executive Director of CGES, Ivan Asanović and Executive Director of the Olive Society, Vesna Đukić.

This agreement formalised the existing cooperation and created a basis for its further strengthening. By joining forces, the Montenegrin Electricity Transmission System and MD 'Boka' have agreed that they will proceed to plan and To carry out a series of activities with the aim of increasing their resources and knowledge, in order to improve their activities.

CGES Executive Director Ivan Asanović expressed his great satisfaction at the signing of the Agreement, and recalled the beginning of this fruitful cooperation, which originated through CGES's 'Our Olive Tree' campaign.

As a socially responsible company that cares for the protection of the environment, we have made a concrete contribution to the development of olive growing in the Bay by planting 1,000 olive saplings. although I firmly believe that this is not the final numberI hope that by this act we have at least slightly raised awareness of the importance of preserving and investing in the environment.", saidHe is Asanović.

The Director of the 'Boka' MD, Vesna Đukić, emphasised the importance of today's confirmation of good cooperation, not only with regard to the development of olive-growing culture in Boka and beyond, but also through the realisation of future goals significant for olive growers.

The Montenegrin Electricity Transmission System and the Olive Growing Society 'Boka' will, in the coming days, launch informational and educational activities, which will work intensively to promote olive growing and demonstrate socially responsible business practices.
