STRONG RESULTS AND STABLE COMPANY GROWTH

The CGES achieved net profit of EUR 21 million in 2025.

In 2025, Crnogorski elektroprenosni sistem AD Podgorica operated profitably, reaffirming its key role in maintaining the energy stability of Montenegro.

Although, the decision of the Energy and Water Regulatory Agency, based on the extraordinary financial results achieved in the previous period, resulted in the transmission tariff reduction and consequently in the 2025 revenues decrease amounting to EUR 9.5 million, the Company's net profit at the end of 2025 amounted to EUR 21 million, thereby maintaining the continuity of strong financial performance.

This financial success is gained through a strong focus on investments in strategic projects, continuously fostering the system development and expansion. Despite increasing operational costs, these are not passed on to end users. In doing so, the Company demonstrates that it is possible to balance two important objectives: providing citizens and businesses with a reliable and high-quality electricity transmission service at stable tariffs, while ensuring value growth and profit distribution for shareholders.

Revenues generated by CGES on the international market—primarily through electricity transit and the commercial use of the submarine cable to Italy—play a key role in maintaining the stability of transmission tariffs, i.e., the cost of electricity transmission. In 2025, these revenues enabled an additional reduction in costs for both households and businesses.

With the same level of enthusiasm and commitment, the Company will continue to leverage Montenegro’s strategic position as a key regional energy hub with realistic expectation to maintain outstanding results in the period ahead.
