Today in Podgorica, a contract was signed to connect another solar power plant to the transmission system, continuing the trend of developing renewable energy sources and strengthening energy stability. The Executive Director of CGES, Ivan Asanović i Stefan Klikovac, On behalf of Qair Montenegro, they signed the Contract for the Construction of Connection Infrastructure and the Connection of the 'Rudine' Solar Power Plant to the Transmission System, with a capacity of 50.13 MW.

The Rudine solar power plant, valued at around 40 million euros, will significantly contribute to increasing the production of clean energy and reducing the emission of harmful gases. The project is part of a broader strategy for sustainable development, and its realisation represents a step forward in the energy transition.

The Rudine solar power plant is expected to be operational by the end of 2028, when it will also be connected to the transmission system, and the site The connection point has been determined in accordance with the results of the analysis and is located on the 110 kV buses at the 220/110/35 kV 'Vilusi' substation.
