
Today, the University of Montenegro has signed a memorandum of cooperation with Crnogorski Elektroprenosni Sistem AD Podgorica, further strengthening the partnership between the academic and business sectors in supporting top students.
The memorandum was ceremoniously signed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Crnogorski Elektroprenosni Sistem AD Podgorica, Aleksandar Mijušković, and Rector University of Montenegro, Professor Dr Vladimir Božović.
According to this memorandum, Crnogorski elektroprenosni sistem AD will award scholarships to the three best students of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of Montenegro. The memorandum provides for annual scholarships of 300 euros per month over a period of ten months, as well as the opportunity for professional internships and further professional development for the selected students.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of CGES, Aleksandar Mijušković, stated that numerous students from the University of Montenegro had already become part of the Company's collective confirming the quality that this academic community cherishes. "We hope that the best will recognize the prospect of staying, with the company's strategic decision to, through such programs, systematically invest in their education, professional training, and inclusion in the energy sector key development projects," said Mijušković. Mijušković said.
In the context of the importance of such partnerships, Rector Božović emphasized: "I believe that this is an investment in keeping the best talents in the country and supporting their professional development right here, where they are needed the most. It is through such initiatives that we encourage talented and educated young people to create opportunities within their own country and be the drivers of our society development rather than seeking them abroad''.
As a reminder, the University of Montenegro has launched the initiative "Scholarships for the best. Jobs with the best" on April 22 of this year. The University will continue to maintain cooperation with business entities providing students with quality education tied to practice, as well as opportunities for professional development.
