The President of the Assembly of Montenegro, Andrija Mandić, and the chairmen of the boards of directors of CGES and EPCG, Aleksandar Mijusković i Milutin ĐukanovićThey visited the dispatch centre of the Italian company 'Terna' in Rome – the most modern in Europe.

The company highlighted the good cooperation with CGES, the company with which the submarine cable project between Italy and Montenegro was realised.
As they pointed out, the company wants to strengthen the energy system by increasing connections with neighbouring countries.

In a conversation with President Mandić, the importance of developing the network and integrating the electricity market was emphasised.

During the visit, the Montenegrin delegation had the opportunity to become more familiar with the business processes and operations of the Dispatch Centre, as well as with the state-of-the-art technology and practices for managing the electricity system under the highly demanding conditions of a high share of generation from renewable sources.

The visit to Terni represents regional cooperation in the energy sector. This visit also serves to strengthen ties between Montenegrin energy companies and regional partners, contributing to the further integration and interconnection of markets.
