The President of the Assembly of Montenegro, Andrija Mandić, and the chairmen of the boards of directors of CGES and EPCG, Aleksandar Mijusković and Milutin Đukanović, visited the dispatch centre of the Italian company 'Terna' in Rome – the most modern in Europe.

The company emphasised the good cooperation with CGES, the company with which the submarine cable project between Italy and Montenegro was implemented.
As they pointed out, the company wants to strengthen the energy system by increasing connections with neighbouring countries.

In the conversation with President Mandić, the importance of network development and integration of the electricity market was highlighted.

During the visit, the Montenegrin delegation had the opportunity to get acquainted more in detail with the business processes and operations of the Dispatch Centre, as well as with the most modern technology and practice for controlling the electric power system in very demanding conditions with a large share of renewable sources generation.

The visit to Terna represents regional cooperation in the energy sector. This visit is also a step towards strengthening ties between Montenegrin energy companies and regional partners, which contributes to further integration and market coupling.
