Crnogorski elektroprenosni sistem (CGES) hereby informs citizens, non-governmental organizations and all other stakeholders that public consultations regarding the preparation of the construction project OHL 400 kV Brezna – Crkvičko Polje – Sarajevo with SS 400/220 kV Crkvičko Polje will take place on Thursday, 19 February 2026, in the Small Hall on the second floor of the Cultural Center in Plužine, starting at 11:00h.
CGES has provided financial resources (grant) for technical support in the preparation of design documentation through the Western Balkans Investment Framework (WBIF). This is a financial instrument established in December 2009 by the European Commission, in cooperation with the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB), the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the European Investment Bank (EIB), bilateral donors and the Western Balkan countries, with the aim of financing strategic investment projects in these countries.
The optimal solution, i.e., overhead line corridor, was selected after conducting multi-criteria analysis, including environmental and social impact.:
