Today in Podgorica, another contract was signed for the connection of a solar power plant to the transmission grid. Specifically, representatives of the companies CGES AD Podgorica and "Agenos Energy"- DOO Podgorica, Ivan Asanović i Iva SimonovićThey have signed the contract for the construction of the connection infrastructure and the connection of the 'Vraćenovići' solar power plant.

This step means an increase in the production of clean energy, a reduction in dependence on fossil fuels and potentially lower costs for future users. It also contributes to a more sustainable future and a more environmentally friendly electricity system.

The future 'Vraćenovići' solar power plant is planned to have an installed capacity of 87.5 MW and is located at the site of Vraćenovići, near the border between Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Commissioning is scheduled for 2028, and the plant will be connected to the transmission network at the Vilusa site, where the construction of a 220/110 kV substation will be required, which will be connected to the existing 110 and 220 kV network. The same substation is planned as the connection point for several power plants in the wider area around Vilus.
