Agreement on the connection of the solar power plant “Vraćenovići” to the transmission network signed

Another agreement was signed today in Podgorica for the connection of a solar power plant to the transmission network. Namely, the representatives of the companies CGES AD Podgorica and Agenos Energy - DOO Podgorica, Ivan Asanović and Iva Simonović, signed an agreement on the construction of connection infrastructure and connection of the solar power plant Vraćenovići.
This step means increased generation of clean energy, reduced dependence on fossil fuels and potentially lower costs for future users. In addition, it contributes to a more sustainable future and a more environmentally friendly electric power system.
The future solar power plant Vraćenovići is planned to have an installed capacity of 87.5 MW, and is located in the Vraćenovići location near the border of Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Commissioning is scheduled for 2028, and the power plant will be connected to the transmission network at the Vilusi location, where it will be necessary to construct a 220/110 kV substation that will be connected to the existing 110 and 220 kV network. The same substation is planned as a connection point for several power plants in the wider area around Vilusi.
