Management of the Montenegrin Transmission System recently visited the construction site at the Blato location in Lastva Grbaljska, where the construction of the 400/110/35 kV 'Lastva' substation is underway.
Following a site visit and a detailed analysis of the activities completed, as well as those yet to be undertaken on this segment of the project to interconnect the electricity systems of Montenegro and Italy, it was concluded that the management team is satisfied with the pace of the works and that a significant portion of what was planned for this phase of the project's implementation has been completed. The fact that the weather conditions are set to change in the coming months makes it necessary to accelerate all activities in order to meet the planned deadlines.
As is known, TS "Lastva" will provide the conditions for connecting the electricity systems of Italy and Montenegro, which will, among other things, make our country's electricity system more stable and reliable.
