The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Crnogorski elektroprenosni sistem (CGES), Aleksandar Mijušković, accompanied by his associates, visited "Stojan Cerović" High School and on that occasion presented a valuable donation of 10,000 euros, which will enable the equipping of classrooms with modern digital and laboratory equipment.
On that occasion, Mijušković emphasized: "It is a great pleasure for me to be here today at the 'Stojan Cerović' Gymnasium – a school that not only upholds a long and rich tradition but also stands as a symbol of knowledge, education, and success. Generations who have shaped our society and left a strong mark in science, culture, and public life have grown up within these walls.
Individuals whose names are deeply engraved in our community and state have emerged from these benches. Their achievements are the best proof that this school is not only a place of learning, but also a cradle of talents, ideas and values”, said the Chairman of the Board of Directors.
"At no point was there any doubt about our decision to allocate a valuable donation of 10,000 euros to the Gymnasium. Our goal is clear – we want to contribute to creating an even better environment for learning, research, and talent development," he said.
"It is not the first time that Crnogorski elektroprenosni sistem has invested in education. Our company does this so consistently, fully aware that education, knowledge, and the dedication of young people are the foundation of all progress. We believe that every investment in education will return manifold to our country through the generations to come," concluded Mijušković.
On behalf of the students, teaching staff, and the school's administration, Crnogorski elektroprenosni sistem and the Chairman of the Board of Directors were thanked by the Assistant Principal, Slobodanka Žižić. As she pointed out, the donation will significantly enhance the quality of educational work at the institution.
“CGES, as a socially responsible company, has recognized the importance of investing in education, as well as the importance of investing in the ‘Stojan Cerović’ High School – an institution that is not only a symbol of the city beneath Trebjesa, but also one that has produced many generations of successful individuals, scientists, artists, and athletes.
This donation is not just an investment in equipment. For us, it is above all an investment in current and future generations of students. We hope there will be opportunities for continued cooperation in the future and that, alongside your company, others will also recognize the importance of investing in education,” said Žižić.
After the handover of the donation, discussions were also held regarding other forms of cooperation with Crnogorski elektroprenosni sistem (CGES). The possibility of organizing study visits for students with an interest in electrical engineering, modern technologies, computer systems and the development of new devices and systems was highlighted.
"Our students who are interested in pursuing studies in electrical engineering could visit CGES, learn about the company's operations, broaden their horizons, and become even more engaged in electrical engineering as a field of science," said Ana Vujačić, physics professor and Chair of the School Board.
