SS 110/35 kV Pljevlja 1 has been in operation since 1961 and its reconstruction and replacement of equipment will enable increased reliability of power supply and remote control. The implementation of the project will reduce maintenance costs, and the connection of OHL 110 kV Žabljak will increase the security of power supply to distribution consumers of the municipalities of Pljevlja and Žabljak.
This project includes works on the reconstruction and extension of SS 110/35 kV Pljevlja 1 in the following scope:
The part of the project related to the reconstruction of the existing 110 kV plant includes works on:
- Complete replacement of foundations and supports of high-voltage equipment
- Partial replacement of input gantries;
- Complete replacement of busbar gantries;
- Reconstruction of traffic infrastructure, cable infrastructure, fencing and lighting;
The part of the project related to the substation expansion includes:
- Construction and complete equipping of one overhead line bay, a bus coupler, two metering and two reserve bays and
- Construction of traffic infrastructure, cable infrastructure, fencing and lighting.
The development and revision of the detailed design has been completed, the construction permit has been obtained, and the contractor has been selected. On 25 February 2023, the contractor was given access to and possession of the site. The works are being carried out according to the planned time schedule and the electrical installation works have been completed, while less than 5% of the construction works remain.
A contractor has been selected for the second phase of the implementation of this project (foundations and transformer tanks with oil drainage system).
The investment value is 3 million euros, and the planned completion date is 2024.
